This is a rare and amazing one off opportunity for a Sales & Marketing Apprentice
The role of Junior Telemarketing Executive will be to contact customers and prospective customers by telephone to make them aware of the various training and breakfast events, to gauge their interest and to book them onto the events.
To follow up with delegates after all events and potentially to attend the events and assist in the smooth running of the events.
A key part of the role will be attending to the Effective Marketing database and making sure that all contact information is accurate and up to date.
Full training will be given but a keen interest in IT, Social Media and combined with a "willing personality" are highly desirable.
The opportunity to develop these skills will be provided to candidates who do not possess these skills but are enthusiastic and committed to working for The Effective Marketing Company.

Skills Required
All training will be provided but applicants will need a strong interest in Telemarketing using computers, design, video, internet, social media and people. This is first and foremost a Sales Apprenticeship so will require a confident communicator.
Qualifications Required
Previous experience and or qualifications highly desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Outgoing, personable, trustworthy, driven, hard working, ambitious and ethusiastic
Important Other Information
From the 1st October 2010 a National Minimum Wage (NMW) for apprentices has been introduced for young people aged 16-18 and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. The new rate is £2.50 per hour. The new NMW applies to time working plus time spent training as this is also part of the Apprenticeship. Anyone not covered by the age category above will be entitled to the NMW appropriate to their age.
Training on the Apprenticeships Programme for 16 to 18 year olds is a priority and fully-funded by Government. Training for Apprenticeships for those over this age is part funded, with employers expected to make a part or full contribution.
Future Prospects
To become an important part of the Effective Marketing team, to establish themselves as permanent staff and play a role in the development of an Effective Marketing telemarketing team. To achieve a good understanding of marketing principles and practices and lay the foundations of a successful career in marketing alongside a level 2 Apprenticeship qualification.
Reality Check
Please ensure you are aware this is a telephone based sales and marketing role. Please ensure you are able to travel to the employers location of Shoreham.
Effective Marketing run breakfast events that run in various locations across Sussex, Hampshire & Kent, some very early starts and occasional overnight stays may be necessary.
